WBNG Guidelines and Policy
for
CWA District 2, TNG Southern District Council, TNG Sector, and CWA Convention
Delegate Representation
(Approved Sept. 15, 2001 by General Membership)
1) Each delegation to Southern District Council, District 2, TNG Sector conferences, CWA conventions, or other official business gatherings of the TNG or CWA, shall have a lead delegate. Whenever the elected president is a part of the delegation, he or she shall be the lead delegate. In the absence of the president, the president shall appoint a lead delegate.
2) The lead delegate shall be responsible for reporting formally to the Executive Council on the business conducted at the meeting, including transmittal of all material provided in connection with the business session(s) of the gathering.
3) Delegate decisions on any proposals of the TNG or CWA which affect dues structure, per capita payments, assessments, or other special payments should be made with the greatest possible input from the membership of the WBNG. Therefore, any TNG/CWA notice of resolutions which might affect dues structure, per capita payments, assessments, or other special payments should, upon receipt by WBNG or its elected representative delegation receive the appropriate scrutiny and be submitted to the Executive Council for approval or direction.
