Jobs with Justice is a nonprofit education and advocacy organization that engages workers and allies in campaigns to win justice in workplaces and in communities where working families live. JwJ was founded in 1987. The Washington-Baltimore Newspaper Guild represents about a dozen employees in research and communications at the organization. Guild members at JwJ won legal recognition of the Guild as their union in 2005 and ratified a first contract that became effective in August 2006.
