United Way of America's Department of Labor Participation Guild Unit

The United Way of America's Department of Labor Participation serves as AFL-CIO Community Services Liaison to workers and their families across the nation.

The primary mission of the department is to coordinate national AFL-CIO support for the United Way and to assist in the implementation of the AFL-CIO Community Services core program.

Nine professional staff in the department are protected by a contract that is bargained and enforced by the Washington-Baltimore Newspaper Guild.
