Newspaper Guild's First Presidential 'Contest' in 12 Years

Newspaper Guild President Linda Foley is being challenged for the union's top spot by Bernie Lunzer, TNG's secretary-treasurer.

This is the first contest for the TNG presidency since Foley was elected in 1996. Formal nominations were made at the TNG Sector Conference in early March. The election period will be between April 24 and April 29. (The results will be certified by May 12.)
