The Newspaper Guild election period is April 24-29. The official vote count will be announced on about May 12.

Approximately 30,000 Guild members are eligible to vote; updated rules have been to each local, which have have the option to have a mail ballot, to allow votes to be cast at polling locations, or to offer a combination. The Washington-Baltimore Newspaper Guild is in the process of notifying its 25 separate units about how voting will occur.
