New Unit Officers at the Sun

Five WBNG members have accepted nominations for top officer positions at the Baltimore Sun unit. They will serve two-year terms.

Serving as Unit Co-Chairs are Tanika White and Lynn Anderson; Jonathan Bor is the new Vice Chair Editorial; Larry Carson is Vice Chair Suburban (Bureaus); and Joe Queen is Vice Chair Sun Park/Building.

The nominations were made at a unit meeting on Jan. 24; none of the nominations was opposed. No nominations were made for Vice Chair Commercial.

Sun employees have been protected by Guild contracts since 1949. After the Washington Post and BNA, the newspaper is WBNG’s third-largest employer, with about 400 members on its payroll.
