Guild Service Award Nomination Letter for Anne-Marie Ditchey and James Crudup March 16, 2009 The Washington Post has two clear candidates for the local's Organizer of the Year Award, and I'd like to nominate them both. Ann Marie Ditchey has consistently talked to new employees in advertising, making sure they knew what the union and the contract means to them. Doing this, she has greatly increased membership in advertising. The circulation drivers have increased their membership from just a handful of drivers to almost 30. James Crudup has been the active member among them who has worked hardest to pull the group together. James, along with a few other active members, have now organized almost the whole unit.
