BNA Correspondents Prepare for Bargaining

Represented by the Washington-Baltimore Newspaper Guild, about two dozen correspondents for Arlington-based BNA (formerly the Bureau of National Affairs) are based outside of the Washington area. They report on state regulations and legislation affecting labor, medical, insurance, and environmental issues.

The BNA Correspondents bargaining committee is Steve Burkholder, Chris Brown and WBNG Local Representative Paul Reilly. The unit’s four-year contract expired July 14, but remains in force.

The Guild has represented BNA's farflung correspondents since 1938.
